Corrie Ploos van Amstel

Corrie is the inventor and founder of the Be-Safe door handle lock, which took him several years to develop, improve, refine and prepare for the global market, in close association with top graphic designers and mechanical engineers. He is a director, shareholder and the CEO and CFO of the project owner, BSAF Lever Locks (Pty) Ltd. Corrie is a legal practitioner with a legal practice in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Marinus Potgieter

Marinus is a highly qualified mechanical engineer and has been intimately involved with the B’SAFE project for the past six years. He is the manager of the Product Development Technology Station (PDTS) at the Central University of Technology (CUT) at Bloemfontein, South Africa, involved in product design, prototyping and short run production

Sarel Henry:

Sarel is a highly qualified, highly skilled and versatile graphic designer, specializing in inter alia3D modelling, graphic design, motion graphics, animation and video editing. Sarel has been involved with the product development process of the B’Safe door handle lock.

Ishmael is a qualified mechanical engineer with progressive experience specializing in product design, reverse engineering, manufacturing and mechanical design. He assisted in improving the existing product with detailed engineering, making use of specialized prototyping equipment from the Centre for Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing (CRPM) of the Central University of Technology (CUT) at Bloemfontein, South Africa.
